  • Alyce Kass

WELLNESS COACH. PERSONAL TRAINER. SOUND HEALER.

Alyce is a Holistic Wellness Coach and Certified Personal Training. She attended the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and is certified for personal training through the National Counsel of Strength and Fitness. Her passion is teaching others how to incorporate body, mind, and soul practices into their daily life.

Her vision is to teach others that the power and ability to heal is attainable to everyone. This results in a life filled with abundant health, peace of mind, and the courage to face any obstacle.

  • Heidi Nemmers

    RYT-200. MASSAGE THERAPIST

Heidi was drawn to the practice of yoga through her background with dance. Heidi studied under Jackie Paulson at Be Yoga Studio in Sioux City Iowa where she became 200 hour certified. Heidi’s passion to give gentle care and support to those around her helped her to realize that through Yoga one can connect mind, body, and soul. The connection she invites you to find on your mat, has offered her a peace that she carries through her day to day living. Her hope is to share this peaceful connection with her students at Awaken Yoga, as they center through the yoga practice, and come back to themselves!

  • Hannah Held

    CYT-200

Hannah found yoga at a time in her life that could have only been designed by the Divine. Her first yoga class was in a gym at South Dakota State University in 2019 on a whim, and she found meaning in movement for the first time and a mental stillness that brings her back to her mat time and time again to reconnect with herself.

Hannah was called to teach yoga during multiple practices at Awaken Yoga as it created a gratefulness in her that she wants to share. Hannah studied under Michelle Young and Ana Pilar Cruz through My Vinyasa Practice in Austin, TX, and earned her RYT-200 in May of 2023.

Hannah believes that yoga is essential to the human body’s harmony, creating a link between the mind and the muscles, the spirit and the physical body. While studying yoga, she reconnected with herself in a way that she never thought possible; she was brought back to her true self that she had lost in the ups and downs of life. Hannah aims to show students the way back to themselves, little by little or all at once, through the practice of yoga.

  • Bobbi

    CYT-200, REIKI MASTER

Bobbie enjoys finding peace and healing through many holistic avenues, yoga and Reiki being two of her favorites! She first became interested in Reiki (a form of energy healing that promotes peace and relaxation) as a means to help her son with special needs. After personally receiving a Reiki session, she felt lighter, more whole, and free. Her Reiki practitioner suggested she take the Reiki level I class so she would continually be able to help herself and her son, as well as her other family members. Bobbie proceeded to take Reiki I and Reiki II in 2019 and finished her Reiki Master in 2020.

Bobbie continued to look for holistic ways to help herself and family with healing in all aspects, to stay grounded, and to aid in just a better quality of life. She randomly found a 30-day yoga challenge and finished it, amazed at how present and “connected to self” she felt from the 30 days of practice. It was like nothing she had ever done before; she felt it not only externally, but internally.

January of 2021, she felt an undeniable push to enter a yoga teacher training program. She was completely terrified and confused as to why she would be guided to do such a thing. But after many calls to the heart, she found a program through Evolve Yoga and Wellness in Sioux City, Iowa. There she finished the 6-month, 200-hour, yoga teacher training program. And boy was she happy she did! It was a completely life changing experience. She learned that yoga is way more than a “work out;” it is a way of life. It is a belief system. A way to heal, to love, to release, to come back to self, to be. She learned that looking inward is where we will always find acceptance and peace from our outward experiences.

Bobbie is happy to bring two of her loves together in one practice. She continues to pray that love, healing, and a deep sense of peace will be the result of bringing yoga and Reiki together.
